The Marilyn Jean is a fast comfortable 36ft. Downeaster powered by a 420hp CAT diesel. The boat carries all of the latest electronic navigation and fish finding equipment, as well as the finest safety equipment. Her captain and crew have over 50 years combined experience fishing the New York / New Jersey area. We know where the fish are, but even more importantly, you will be getting a top flight boat, a knowledgeable and courteous captain and crew, and the best bait and tackle that can be found. We sail daily from Futura Marina.

Book any trip that is stated as a BLUE BIRD TRIP and if for any reason you can’t or don’t want to go just call me by 9pm the night before and you can either re schedule or cancel your trip and get a full refund it’s your choice.

This is available on most ½ and full day flounder, fluke scup and sea bass trips May through September.

Special RSA fluke and Sea Bass Trips

Early season fluke trips will start in late May and run until the start of the regular fluke season.

This is a great time to bounce buck tails, jigs and teasers for big FLUKE in shallow water.

We will provide one jig or buck tail per angler. Teasers are available.

As always if you dragging bait we provide the hooks and sinkers.

½ day trip 4 to 5 hour trip 450.00 for up to 6 anglers
Full day 8 to 9 hour trip 650.00 for up to 6 anglers

Late Season RSA fluke and sea bass combos

Trips will target Fluke and Sea Bass during their ocean run. Come down and take advantage of the bights famous late season Ambrose channel fishing, as well as the excellent fishing down the east and south beaches.

We can fish with bait, jigs and teasers or both.
Bait rigs are provided as is the 1st jig or buck tail.

Trips will start the day after the regular fluke season closes and continue until the fishing stops or I run out or RSA Quota.

You may have no more than 1 adult per child ,so 3 adults and 3 children is ok as is 1 adult and 5 children.

These trips are 6 hours long and target fluke, sea bass and scup in the calm sheltered waters of the bay.
It’s the perfect way to introduce a child to fishing or just get the family and friends out for the day.

Well now that the site is back up reports will be posted on a regular basis
 
 Toggin has been good to excellent with limit catchs on every trip.
 Some trips have been slaughters with 3 to 4 times the limit beig released while other take a fullday to put togeather a catch
 the larger fish have not been prevelant with most pool fish being 6 to 7 lbs each trip
 that will cahnge in the next week or so as the fish move to deeper water

Wednesday Porgies and Sea Bass

A light crowd showed up today, I guess the T storm forecast kept a few people home for no reason because the rain never came. Those who showed up where treated to nice day of fishing down the Jersey shore. We picked at some nice Porgies for the first couple of hours in the am but they were picky prefering sandworm bait. We headed further South for the afternoon and had good steady Sea Bass action with a few more Pogies and a couple triggerfish coming up.

The night bass bite continues to hold strong last nights trip saw half a dozen nice
keepers even though conditions where not the best. Hopefully things settle down
the next few days and the Bass keep on biting. Here are some pics from the last few
